With over a decade of experience as an educator, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how to support students through challenges, encourage their growth, and build their confidence. As a former teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Exceptional Student Education and Spanish from the University of Miami and a Master’s in Education, I know how to tailor instruction to individual needs, making complex material easier to grasp.
I recently decided to follow my true passion for healthcare and began my journey toward becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse. Transitioning from teaching to nursing has reignited my drive to help others, particularly those entering nursing school. Drawing on my years of teaching experience, I can now help future nurses navigate their studies and build the skills they need to succeed.
My past roles—including teaching in diverse classrooms and even working as a COVID-19 investigator for the Florida Department of Health—have provided me with a well-rounded perspective on healthcare, problem-solving, and patient education. I specialize in working with nontraditional learners, helping them break through self-doubt and develop strategies that work for them.
